“FG spent 1.3 trillion on education in four years” – Reach – Latest News and Updates

Malam Adamu Adamu, the Minister of Education, has disclosed that the Federal Government spent N1.3 trillion on capital projects in the education sector in the last four years.

Deputy Director in the ministry, Ben Gong, who was representing Adamu said the expenditure was more than personnel cost and overheads, which put together, was more than capital investment on critical infrastructure in the polity.

He said that the government’s preparedness to live up to the expectation of Nigerians to deliver on his campaign promises, especially in the education sector.
